Our mission
Built to make endurance sport more accessible.
TriPilot was created for people who want proper guidance without feeling overwhelmed, priced out, or stuck following a generic plan.
A lot of people are interested in running, cycling, swimming or triathlon — and never quite know how to begin. Others want to improve, but don't trust a random plan off the internet, and don't feel ready to pay for one-to-one coaching. TriPilot is designed to close that gap: to make structured endurance training feel approachable, flexible and realistic.
There's a second gap it closes. Most training tools were built for one sport and stretched to cover three, so you end up juggling a running app, a cycling app, and a spreadsheet stitched together the night before a long weekend — and none of them know what the other two are asking of your body that week.
TriPilot is built the other way around. You choose the sports — one, two, or all three — and they share a single plan. If you only run, you get a proper running plan. If you swim and ride, it balances the two. And if you do all three, it accounts for the fact that a hard bike day changes what your legs have for the run. Doing that balancing automatically, instead of leaving you to eyeball it, is the whole point.
It's also built to be used mid-session, not just admired on a Sunday night. Every workout is written out step by step with its own effort target, it imports straight into the Watch Workout app, and if you miss a day you drag it somewhere else rather than rebuilding the week. The plan works around your life, your rest day, and how many sessions you can genuinely hold down.
From the founder
I'm Emily, an Ironman athlete and a University of Canterbury student studying Law and Commerce. I built TriPilot to help more people take that first step into endurance sport with confidence, structure and support — without the financial pressure of traditional one-to-one coaching.
Why it matters
Guidance without the overwhelm.
Endurance sport can be exciting. It can also be confusing, expensive and intimidating — and the two usual options don't help much. A rigid generic plan doesn't know anything about you. Private coaching does, but at a price most people can't justify.
TriPilot sits between them: a training system that guides you, adapts with you, and supports real progress in a way that stays sustainable. It's built in New Zealand, around real racing, and designed to hold up under it — not just look good in a demo.
